Virgin Media packages

Virgin Media Inc arose from the merging of NTL Incorporated with Telewest Global, Inc. It is ranked as the second biggest Internet Service Provider in the United Kingdom. Virgin Media provides Broadband either by fibre optic cable (cable), or down your regular phone line. It also provides services like free phone calls to UK landlines or digital TV (up to 140 channels!). Please keep in mind that these TV/Phone services are not bundled in the broadband packages : if you are interested in taking these, you will have to subscribe to them as "extra" options.
Unlike with most of the other Internet Service Providers, you will be given access to some unlimited contents (music, films, downloads...) as a basic feature. Virgin Media, as its brand name implies, is a good choice for anyone who is fond of the cinema, TV and music. Modems are also free for any package, which makes an overall reasonable cost for each product. Note that all packages include protections for PC as a free option.
Although Virgin Media still pays the piper for its customer service which was not above reproach, this Internet Service Provider delivers outstanding products for people who really want to enjoy Internet high-speed and the new technologies, especially concerning non-cable packages.
