As an intermediate choice, this package gives you the same advantages as these given by Total Broadband 1, but also rubs off the rare disadvantages included in the first package : the 5 GB usage limit has been extended to 8 GB (if you exceed your allowance, you will be charged 30 p per Gigabyte, starting from the second month), the free wired router has turned itself into a beautiful wireless one.
You will also get an extra 100 minutes concerning BT Fon Network, which enlarges your autonomy. This is a rich, very attractive package for those who feel confident only with well-know brand names.
As in BT Total Broadband option 1 you are allowed to use 5 GB of secure online storage, that means you can use a special web space (a vault) to store your pictures, videos, music, in case you had a hard drive crash.
As in smart but bottom-of-the-line BT Total Broadband Option 1, you will be allowed to use a second phone to make free phone calls (UK landlines, and only in evenings or week-ends hours).
Day-time calls only cost 3.25p per minute, and international costs are real bargains.
If you subscribe to this package, you will only pay £13.99 per month for the first 3 months (this involves a 12 months contract).
