Description of the package

This package is a great deal for any web user who likes to go on the internet and who does not frequently download heavy files. Speed is the keyword of this package, and all the given opportunities will largely fulfill basic family needs.

The monthly cost is quite low, but however, the usage limit may be quite light for anyone who'd be interested in using VOD services or play tempestuous online games with his friends (if you exceed your allowance, you will be charged 30p. per Gigabyte, starting from the second month).

Internet extras

BT Total Broadband option 1 includes a free router (a Standard Wired Router) or a wireless "BT Home Hub" (if you choose to order this item you will be charged a special fee).

You will get a Wi-Fi access of 250 minutes a month, thanks to the BT Fon network, which means that you'll be able to go surfing the internet with your laptop wherever you are (as long as you are next to one of the thousands of hotspots).

Inclusive calls

When using a second phone plugged into your router, calls will be free to UK landlines (evenings and week-ends). Day calls will only cost 3.25p per minute, and international tariff will fortunately allow you to call foreign countries at very low rates.

If you subscribe to this package, you will only pay £8.95 per month for the first 6 months (this involves a 18 months contract), or £12.99 per month for the first 3 months (on a 12 months contract).
